Lenovo has launched its first-ever full screen smartphone, Lenovo S5 with full screen display at an event in China. The company has priced the Lenovo S5 at 999 yuan (Rs 10,294) with the 3GB version and 1199 yuan (Rs 12,354) for the 4GB variant. The highest variant has 4GB RAM and 128 GB storage on board and the price is Yuan 1,499, which comes to Rs 15,446 on conversion.

Lenovo S5 follows the trend of the newer taller display and this phone will go on sale from March 23 in China.

The smartphone can be purchased in Midnight Black and Flame Red color options.

  5. Variants – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM
  6. Storage – 64GB & 128GB (further expandable upto 128GB by adding a microSD card)
  7. Dual rear camera (13MP (Monochrome) + 13MP (RGB) dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED Flash and f/2.2 aperture)
  8. Smartphone is capable of capturing portrait shots
  9. 16MP Front or selfie camera with real-time AI capabilities and beautify features
  10. Face recognition and face unlock
  11. 3,000 mAh battery
  12. Network – 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C as connectivity options
  13. Sensors – fingerprint, gravity, Light sensor, proximity sensor and compass
  14. Integrated metal body, 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual SIM

Apart from this, Lenovo launched two budget smartphones — Lenovo K5 and K5 Play at the same event.
