Indian company Lava released a new smartphone called Lava Yuva 5G on the local market of India on Thursday, May 30. It is a smartphone that presents a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display, the device comes with a resolution of HD+ and a 90Hz punch hole display refresh rate (16.58cm (6.528″) Punch Hole HD+ IPS Display with 2.5D Curved Screen & 90Hz Refresh Rate). This new device is also special because it is the first to be powered by the Unisoc T750 5G chipset processor in the country. The device is driven by a Octa-core Unisoc T750 5g SoC 6nm chipset with AnTuTu score 360K+ and has 4GB of RAM on board which can be expanded to 8GB, this is complemented by internal storage options of 64GB and 128GB which can be expanded further with the help of a microSD card slot up to 1TB.
Price and Availability of Lava Yuva 5G Smartphone
The Lava Yuva 5G is available in two configurations- The first one has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and is available at a price point of Rs. 9,499. The second one has a 4GB RAM with 128GB of storage and is available at Rs 9,999. The device is set to go on sale from 5th June through the Amazon India website as well as the official Lava e-store and other Lava outlets. Indian customers will be able to buy the Lava Yuva 5G smartphone starting June 5 at 12:00 PM.

The Lava Yuva 5G comes with dual SIM both 5G nano SIMs. It has call features such as Vibration on Call Connection, Conference Call, Anonymous & Auto Call Recording. The Lava Yuva 5G comes in colors mystic blue and mystic green. The Lava Yuva 5G has a premium glass back design with matte finish holding a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera, while the front has an 8MP selfie camera located inside the punch-hole cutout. The multiple camera modes include Refocus, Audio Note, Ultra Resolution, Motion Photo, Intelligent Scanning,
Slow Motion, Time Lapse, etc. Other camera features include Portrait, Slow Motion, Timelapse, Refocus, Audio Note, Motion Photo, Ultra Resolution, Beauty, HDR, Night, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, Intelligent Scanning.
According to the domestic handset maker, the device, which is already running on Android 13 OS, is expected to get an upgrade to Android 14 later this year. It has a 5000mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charging support and come with a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone has a side mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and also has support for face recognition. The phone comes with the UFS 2.2 ROM storage to enable quicker data retrieval time; The warranty coverage for the handset is one year while that of accessories is six months.
As per the website of Lava, they are providing free service at home under the warranty period. Sales package includes Handset, USB Cable Type-C, Charger, SIM Ejector Pin, Back Cover, etc. The weight of handset is 208 gm.
