How to find Serial and Part number of Electoral Roll online?

Part number of Electoral Roll, Serial Number of Electoral Roll – Once you checked your name, age, address and other particulars of the Voter ID card online or Voter List Online In India and found some entries mismatching in your Voter ID card, which are not right as per the document provided to the NVSP (Now ECI Voters) site online.

Now you need to do correction in voter ID card in the ECI Voters site to update voter ID card details such as Name, Photograph, Elector’s Photo Identity Card Number(if issued), Address, Date of Birth, Age, Name of Relative, Type of Relation, Gender etc. online.

What is Part number of Electoral Roll and Serial Number of Electoral Roll?

Once you are the registered voter in India, you’ll get a Part Number and a Serial Number from the ECI. Part Number and a Serial Number numbers are the unique numbers assigned to your EPIC number by the ECI to identify the voters’ profiles accurately. These numbers are needed when you go for the correction in your Voter ID card details.

When you go for the correction in your Voter ID then you need to fill Part number of Electoral Roll and Serial Number of Electoral Roll fields in Form 8 in ECI Voters site in the respective columns or text box, without which you can not proceed to apply the changes in details of voter ID card.

Let’s see how to find these numbers in electoral roll through National Voters’ Service Portal (NVSP) now ECI Voters and Election Commission of India (ECI) sites online.

Steps to find Part number of Electoral Roll and Serial Number of Electoral Roll online

1. Go to the ECI Voters site.
2. Click on “Search your name in Electoral Roll” button.
3. Election commission of India site for Electoral search page opens for ECI Voter Information.
4. You can search your name by two ways –

(A) Click on Search by Details section and give your name, father/husband name, gender, state and assembly constituency etc., enter captcha code in captcha text field and press/click Search button.

(B) Click on Search by EPIC number and give your Electoral Photo ID Card (EPIC) number. The EPIC number is mentioned in bold letters on your voter identity card. Enter your EPIC number, select the state from the drop-down menu, and enter captcha code in the captcha text field as you see on the image. Then click or tap Search.

Following above steps, list of records will appear at the bottom of the page, click on “View Details” button against your name or EPIC number.

Voter Information page opens where all the details such as State, Assembly Constituency, Name, Gender, EPIC number etc. appears on the page.

Scroll down the page where you can find Part Number, Part Name, Serial Number and Polling Station Name.

Apart from finding Part number of Electoral Roll and Serial Number of Electoral Roll, you can also find next election polling dates as well as the last updated date and time in your voter information page by the ECI.

You can also print your Voter Information from the button given at the bottom right of the page.
