Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched Honor View 20 at a special event in Paris, a global variant of the Honor V20 launched in China in December, 2018. The launch for the smartphone in India is confirmed and to be launched on January 29.

Honor View 20 is powered by flagship-grade HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and an exclusive Honor Guard Fortnite Outfit that will be exclusive to Honor View 20 owners. It sports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary time of flight (ToF) sensor at the back.

It sports a bezel-less display design, dual camera setup stacked horizontally, a rear fingerprint sensor, a gradient glossy back panel, and tapered edges.

It has a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone at the bottom edge, and 3.5mm audio jack, secondary microphone at the top edge of the phone.

The pre-booking of Honor View 20 is started with freebies and will be available from today i.e. Wednesday, January 23 in 18 countries, including India on HiHonor and some exclusive partners based on the country, such as in India it is Amazon.in.

The Honor View 20 front camera sits as a display hole beneath the screen to give you 91% screen-to-body ratio. Equipped with the world’s first 7nm Kirin 980 HiAI chipset, you will be able to power through all your everyday tasks without hassle. The Honor View20 also comes with a NINE liquid cooling system, avoiding overheating.

2. Long Lasting Battery Life

The Honor View 20 is equipped with incredible 4,000mAh battery with Super Charge for fast charging (4.5V/5A). This entity gives you an entire day’s charge with just 30 minutes of charge.

3. World’s First In-Screen Front Camera

Honor View 20 has a stunning 25MP innovative front camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a fixed focus lens, click beautiful selfies in all light conditions. The Honor View20 can recognize over 60 categories and 1,500 scenarios to adjust the camera settings in real time to give you the best pictures.

4. 48MP Rear camera on Honor View 20

Honor View 20 smartphone has a high-resolution 48MP AI camera, with a Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. It is the world’s first smartphone to integrate ultra-clarity and mind-blowing details. There’s a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor to capture the depth of an image, providing several 3D and beautification applications. It supports 960fps slow-motion video recording, Autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash.

5. Large Screen of Honor View 20

It has a 6.4-inch screen with a 19.25:9 aspect ratio. It features a TFT LCD display with a full HD+ resolution of 2310×1080 with a 91.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

6. 6GB and 8GB Variants Processors

The smartphone is powered by the 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core SoC (2 Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz + 2 Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 1.92GHz + 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz ). It will come in two variants, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and the other with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

7. Android 9.0 Pie

The Honor View 20 is running Magic UI from the company based on Android 9.0 Pie. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.

8. Price and color of Honor View 20

The new handset has been priced at EUR 569 (~INR 46,100/-) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option, and EUR 649 (~INR 52,500/-) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option.

The former version will be Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color options, while the Moschino Co-Design edition (8GB RAM version) will be available in Phantom Blue and Phantom Red color options.

9. Connectivity options

Honor View 20 includes Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. The company is also touting dual-frequency GPS and triple-antenna Wi-Fi as features.
