Horticulture and floriculture is the wing of agriculture which relates the process of producing crops including fruits, vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants on a commercial scale. Horticulturists, nursery managers, greenhouse operators, and landscape designers are the professions that horticulture provides. They also do these things like crop management, pest control, and breeding to improve the crop yields, quality, and resistance to disease.

Moreover, animal husbandry is one of the baseline of the Indian agricultural sector.
